Common questions

How much is the Rescue Diver course in Hurghada?

EUR 270-370 across the eight operators that list it. Aquarius Red Sea is cheapest at EUR 270, but adds EUR 110 for the PADI manual, certificate and e-learning; IDive Diving Center adds EUR 95 to its EUR 300. Compare what's included, not only the course fee.

How many days does it take?

2 days at Aquarius Red Sea, Dive Nemo Hurghada and Funnydivers; 3 days at Diamond Red Sea, Red Sea Diving School, Tauchen Hurghada and White Dolphin Diving Center. IDive Diving Center lists practical lessons without stating a length. A longer course isn't always the more expensive one.

Is the first-aid course included?

Not on the listings we track: Emergency First Response is priced separately at IDive Diving Center (EUR 110 plus EUR 95 materials), Funnydivers (EUR 120), Diamond Red Sea and Tauchen Hurghada (EUR 150) and Red Sea Diving School (EUR 180), which lists it as required before the Rescue Diver course. Ask whether the shop bundles it before adding it to your budget.

Is equipment included?

Recorded as included at Diamond Red Sea, Dive Nemo Hurghada, Funnydivers, Red Sea Diving School and Tauchen Hurghada; as an extra at Aquarius Red Sea (EUR 22/day), IDive Diving Center (EUR 7/day each for wetsuit, BCD and regulator) and White Dolphin Diving Center.
